Glasgow University Sports Association

Welcome

Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) is a student run body and our role is:

To provide appropriate representation for our members and provide effective opportunities for them to take part in sport.

This means that we are here to represent all members involved in:

  • Club sport
  • Recreational leagues, ladders and drop-in sessions
  • SRS courses
  • Health and fitness classes

If you have any issues, suggestions or concerns with the services provided by GUSA and the SRS, we are the people who can make your voice heard at a higher level.

We co-ordinate and develop the running and activities of the 46 affiliated sports club in conjunction with the SRS.

We also provide Finance and Travel for the clubs.

We are a busy organisation with lots of exciting things happening, details of which are all included in these pages. Use the menu on the left to navigate your way around what we do.

There are so many opportunities for you to get involved in sport and recreation at Glasgow that we strongly suggest you take them up during your time at University. You will never have these opportunities again and you never know, you might even enjoy it!

Sport provides a great chance to help you lead a balanced, healthy life style. Here at GUSA we know how to live the best of all worlds. It is well known that taking regular exercise helps you concentrate and alongside all of the new skills that you can develop, the social opportunities are endless. Go on, give it a try!

Our office is located at 62 Oakfield Avenue, just across from the Stevenson Building. Feel free to pop in any time for a chat and a cup of tea. We are here to help!
