"Chiropractic is a healthcare profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effect of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health. There is a emphasis on manual treatment including spinal manipulation or adjustments".

The Chiropractors Act 1994 established the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) as the regulatory body and since 2001 it has been illegal for anyone to practice as a chiropractor if they are not registered with the GCC. All chiropractors at the Glasgow University Chiropractic clinic are fully registered members of both the GCC and British Chiropractic Association.

The clinic is based on the ground floor of 64 Oakfield Avenue (directly across from the Stevenson Building).
I graduated in 2002 from one of Europe's top chiropractic colleges, the Anglo-European College of Chiropractors in Bournemouth. Following college I returned to my hometown of Sheffield, working in a busy established practice for 2 years before opening my own clinic in 2004. I moved to Glasgow in 2007.
I specialise in the treatment of work-related conditions and sporting injuries.
I take a holistic approach to healthcare, initially focussing on your pain, and once resolved I can design you an individual exercise program and give practical nutrition advice to both prevent your pain from returning and improve your overall health.
The techniques I use are gentle manipulation and mobilisation of your joints and massage, stretching and dry needling (a form of acupuncture) to relax tight muscles.
I look forward to meeting you.
