Membership
As a student, staff or alumni of the University of Glasgow you are entitled to full access membership. There are also additional membership packages for the external community.
Participating in sport and recreation, will provide you with some great benefits and opportunities. The most obvious being:
Personal improvement
- It ensures a great way to take time out from work and studies while reducing stress levels and tension,
- It improves your overall general health and well-being - a healthy body leads to a healthy mind,
- Learn how to make exercise part of your life. You can obtain advice from our qualified instructors particularly if you are unsure need motivation or think that exercise is not for you
- Master new skills and achieve a sense of accomplishment. Try new activities or improve existing skills. We have a huge range of inductions, classes, courses, drop-ins, leagues and clubs to choose from
- Have the opportunity to get involved in club management or be part of the GUSA Council. This is a great way to get involved, gain management experience (such as organisational, time management, project management, communication, financial skills, etc…) and make a real difference during your time at University
