conduct
- GU reserves the right to refuse entry or to eject from the premises any person, who is, in the opinion of any representative of the SRS under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- No photography, filming, audio or video recording, (including the use of mobile telephones for the capture of images or sound), may be carried out on the premises without the express, prior permission of the SRS Director or Customer Service Manager.
- No foodstuffs, alcoholic or soft drinks to be taken into or consumed on the premises, other than (a) in such areas as may be designated for that purpose; and (b) water. Glass containers are not permitted in any part of the premises.
- Smoking is not permitted in any part of the premises.
- Litter (including chewing gum) should be disposed of appropriately in the bins provided and all towels should be placed in the towel bins.
- Clean, suitable clothing and footwear which is appropriate to the activity or exercise being undertaken must be worn at all times. Where instructions are given either orally or in writing as to types of footwear and/or equipment, which are relevant for an area or are suited for a particular playing surface or conditions, these instructions must be followed.
- If shared facilities are busy, members should seek to make facilities available as soon as possible to those waiting. At the same time, those waiting should be pepared to wait for a reasonable period or use alternative facilities whilst waiting.
- No member of his/her guest may carry out any teaching, education or coaching activities on the Premises (whether for reward or not) without the express, prior permission of the Director of the SRS.
- All members/guests must adhere to the safety guidelines of the activity they are participating in.
- No activity which is likely to give offence to others (including SRS representatives) is permitted.
- Members must demonstrate consideration and respect to others (including SRS representatives) in and around the premises, including when communicating comments or complaints to SRS employees. In particular, abusive, profane or offensive language and gestures will not be tolerated.
- Physical or verbal intimidation, violence or threats of violence towards others (including SRS representatives) will not be tolerated.
- The use of private apparatus on the premises is not permitted without the express, prior permission of the SRS Director or Customer Service Manager.
- Changing rooms are provided and should be used at all times. Bags and other personal belongings are not permitted in any activity area.
- Facilities should be kept tidy and all equipment replaced in its designated area after use. Abuse of, misuse of, or damage to, the facilities will not be tolerated.
- Breakages or damaged equipment should be reported immediately to reception.

Complaints Procedure
Members/guest should communicate any comments or complaints to an SRS representative and must follow any instructions they are then given by the SRS representative. Comments or complaints submitted by members in writing will, where possible, be replied to within 7 working days.

Health
Members should read the questions below concerning their health astatus and that of their guests and childresn. GUS strongly advises that if the answer is "yes", or if any member or guest has any other concerns about exercise and his/her health and that of a child for whom he/she is responsible, he/she consult his/her general practitioner for advice before undertaking or continuing with participation in any exercise or physical activity.
- has your doctor ever said you have a heart condition and recommended only medical approved physical activity?
- do you have chest pain brought on by any degree of physical activity?
- have you developed chest pain when resting in the past month or year?
- is your doctor currently prescribing medication for your blood pressure or heart condition (eg. diuretics, water pills, etc.)?
- do you lose consciousness or lose balance as a result of dizziness?
- do you have respiratory problems such as emphysema, asthma, wheezing, chronic bronchitis, unusual breathlessness?
- do you have a metabolic disease for example diabetes, thyroid disorders, renal or liver disease?
- do you have a bone or joint problem that could be aggravated by the proposed physical activity?
- are you currently or have you been pregnant within the past three months?
- are you aware of any other reason you should not exercise without medical approval?
Members, guests and their children are asked to postpone participation in any exercise or physical activity whilst feeling unwell or during temporary illness. If a members, guest or child's health status changes at any time, he/she is advised to seek appropriate medical advice before undertaking or continuing with participation in any exercise or physical activity.

muscle conditioning
Muscle conditioning exercises in particular can result in injury from exercises being performed incorrectly, or if equipment is not used correctly - this risk of injury is increased when using free weights due to the level of individual skill required and impact injuries may occur from equipmnt being handled incorrectly, members are asked to note particularly that:
- the muscle conditioning exercise areas are unsupervised and the facilities and equipment are used at member's own risk
- members are strongly advised to arrange an equipment induction and/or exercise consultation if they are (a) unsure how to use the muscle conditioning equipment; or (b) unsure about the type of exercise programme that they should undertake
- members are required to follow the SRS muscle conditioning rules which are available in the muscle conditioning areas of the premises.

swimming pool
In accordance with the Terms and Conditions, an adult must accompany all children in the pool and dryside areas at all times. Children must nevr be left unattended in the pool and dryside areas. Children are not premitted to use the sauna or steam room.
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited in the pool area:
- wearing of face masks, fins or snorkels unless the express, prior permission of an SRS Represenative has been obtained.
- spitting
- inappropriate swimwear
- petting or other inappropriate intimate behaviour

bookings
All members must ensure that any preparation, assembling, dismantling and removal of equipment is carried out during the period of time for which they have made the booking and not either before or after that time. For the convenience of other membes and users, adherence to booking times will be strictly enforced.
Notice of cancellation of bookings is 48 hours notice, otherwise the full charge for the facilities will be due and payable.
