Come along to GUWFC and try the beautiful game. We have players of varying ability and experience. We’re a sociable yet competitive team and are always on the look out for new players to be part of the fastest growing sport in the UK.
Last season we won promotion into the top Scottish University League. This year we are also introducing a 2nd team into the University League. As well as entering a team into the SWFL, which will play on Sundays. So there will always be an opportunity for you to play.
We train on a third generation pitch at Garscube sports complex. Even if you miss the taster session or the first few weeks don’t be scared about popping along at anytime during the season.
As well as taking football seriously we do like the odd drink and can be frequently found in Viper on Wednesday nights. We have many social events during the year to ensure we keep team spirits up!
So, if you feel you have something to offer the team, whether its skill and flair or a bit of banter you will be welcomed at GUWFC!
