Whether you are an aspiring great or prefer to stroll the fairways for the occasional hit then you’ve come to the right place!
We are a friendly club aiming to expand our social side over the coming years and provide club members, of all abilities, ample opportunities to enjoy the wonderful game of golf. Our links with Milngavie Golf Club offers preferential rates for GUGC Members and a University Membership scheme with a discounted fee.
Our ladies team play league fixtures against other Universities as well as friendly matches, and is actively seeking new players to help the team excel.
Our men play within the Scottish Universities Pyramid in the Winter League, the SUS Order of Merit events and in the nationwide BUSA league, with the highlight of the year being the Scottish Universities Championship at Lossiemouth. We are the envy of all golfers in being able to play many prestigious courses in Scotland in a series of friendly matches.
Our men’s section will also be expanded this year to include a 2nd Team, which means more playing opportunities for lower handicap golfers.
