Riding

We offer the opportunity to take part in equestrianism at an affordable price for every level of rider.

We have Wednesday afternoon or evening lessons at a British Horse Society approved venue and a wide selection of horses allow us to suit all levels of riders. All lessons are subsidised and transport is arranged and pre-booked.

We have 3 teams in British University Leagues - all won their leagues and qualified for national finals last year. Teams consist of 4 members, competing in both dressage and showjumping competitions. Last year one individual was selected for the Great Britain Student Riders Team and successfully competed in Sweden.

We organise a range of equestrian activities and social events. In the equestrian sphere we have access to a polo club, go on beach hacks in scenic locations, liase with other clubs to compete in pentathlon and had a members show as well as our own open team showjumping competition.

We are a close-knit, friendly club and run numerous social events including - race nights, Ann Summers evenings, our annual club dinner and any other excuse to party!

This year we hope to run training towards British Horse Society examinations to allow student riders to finish university with not only a degree but also a professional qualification in horsemanship.
