If you want to participate in the only truly extreme sport then join GUSC, climb into a sexy yellow jumpsuit and see what the inside of a cloud really looks like (white and damp really!). The adrenaline rush that you feel when the plane door opens up at 4000ft and an instructor shouts “Go!” in your ear, is one that cannot be put into words.
Whatever your level or ambitions we’ll organise your jumps, get you in the plane and lead you to the bar afterwards. We run transport on a weekly basis to the drop zone in St Andrews for those who fancy a taste of the sport. You’ll be trained to do a solo static line jump – where a ripcord automatically deploys your parachute upon exiting the plane at 4000ft. Progression jumps from here on are as low as £25 each, and you can be onto doing freefall after only 5 jumps!!
We also run trips abroad each year for those of you want to get fully qualified in less than a week. If you’re at all interested in falling at over 120mph then check out our website: www.gusc.co.uk, for weekly social meetings or give us a shout!
