Snooker

We are now in our fifth year and based primarily in the G.U.U. We offer our members incentives such as free hours of snooker at the G.U.U., free entry into some G.U.U. competitions and various friendly matches throughout the year.

We have the best facilities of any University Snooker Club in Britain, and are open to all members regardless of playing ability.

Facilities are open every day of the week except bank holidays and most members are usually found on Wednesday nights at the Billiard Hall in the G.U.U. so come along and join in the fun.

Wednesday nights are when the weekly snooker competition is held and there is always plenty of bar vouchers to be won! It must be stressed once again however that the club is open to all levels of ability; so even if you have never actually played the game in your life before, why not come along and learn a new skill, meeting lots of new friends at the same time!

Our snooker team is now officially ranked number 2 in the British rankings. We are looking to build similar success with our newly created pool team.
