Then the Squash Club is the place for you. Our club is very sociable and anyone of any ability is welcome to our weekly sessions,. A professional SRA qualification coach is on hand for training, who can boast to have the world No. 5 under his faithful instruction.

The University fields two men’s teams and a ladies team who participate weekly in the West of Scotland Leagues. The men’s 1st’s have gained promotion to division 2. We also field teams into the Scottish University Championships and the men’s team are currently defending champions 2 years running. The teams have also enjoyed success in the British University Championships where last year the men’s 1st’s finished 6th in the BUSA Premier League and for the 2nd year reached the quarter-finals of the BUSA CUP securing a few trips across the border this year to sample some real ale and some real English hospitality! The squash women enjoyed tremendous success in the 2006-2007 season with the team winning the BUSA trophy.

And if that’s not enough for you – we have access to the squash courts 2 nights a week, you can take part in the intra-uni ladder system, get club hoodies and experience our legendary nights out - You could say: “It’s probably the best club in the Uni”.
